The adventure started in 1995 when one of the associate spent his holiday in USA. He was surprised that to eliminate the food waste people put it into the sink, he discovered in this way the disposer called also garbage disposer. After he came back to Italy he tought a lot about the benefit of that appliance and after he analized the pros and cons about that solution to resolve the food waste elimination he partnered with other guys to distribute the product in all Europe, in that way in 1997 he thereby created the Resnova company.

The visionary idea behind the project was to penetrate the European market and deploing an ecologic product that help to solve as best as possible the waste problem specially the food waste that are really polluting and are the 33% of the total waste produced. In those years the only available products were manufactured by American companies, so Res Nova estabilish contacts with them to distribute the disposer all around Europe and the business started.

From out if those years a lot of mileage has been made out. Some of the most important European companies working in this area, believed in our visionary idea with great satisfaction and our food faste disposer now is on their catalogues making it one of the most usefull appliance for the kitchen. Our technical department works always hard to improve the quality of the product introducing also new feature to meet different nutritional habits. Before to distribute the disposers we test them one by one in our Italian laboratory. There is still much to be done to solve the problem of waste treatment but Res Nova continue to believe in visionary idea to do something important about it.
